Blog Guelph: The Toe Stretch
With November on the run and crazed December waiting to smack us upside the head, it seems like the perfect time to stop for a moment to take a big breath and stretch body, mind and spirit.
Today's series resonated 'quietness' for me. With hustle and bustle right around the corner, I thought a moment of reprieve would serve us all well.
So slip off those shoes and liberate the tension in your toes fair friends. Bend, extend, curl and twirl to your little piggies pleasure. It is the simple delights that bring the most bliss.

Blog Guelph: Spring Kitten
As the wind raged and temperature dropped last night I wondered what exactly had crawled up Spring's butt and died. She's starting out a much crankier season than I was wishing for and I can only hope that once she gets caught up with cleaning winter's leftovers, her gentle nature will shower down.
Until then, we have kittens.
Yes I have littered today's 'dog breakfast' of soft news posts with fresh baked kittens for you to get mushy and wiggly over. It's my best mood altering effort dear readers - ideally viewed with a bowl of milk.

Blog Guelph: The Tail End of Winter
It's Double Photo Gem Friday friends AND the last weekend in March. Blessed April showers can't come soon enough but until they do, we're still Marching through the tail end of winter.
Please hold the course winter warriors. The battle is coming to an end.
But before you press on, here's a couple of important notes to report plus the seed of an idea.

2. Mayor Karen Farbridge is excited about Earth Hour Guelph. Watch this Guelph Mercury video to hear about her vision.
3. Instead of one hour of candle lit darkness on Saturday night, why not unplug for the whole evening. Could be fun. Might be sexy. Will be historic.
